Displays shown in the tutorial are based on the following initial setup:
- Connect a passive probe from channel 1 to the Cal test point on the front panel, ground the probe to the adjacent ground terminal.
- Recall the default setup: File pulldown > Recall Setup> Recall Default.
- Turn off channel 2.
- Auto Setup the scope: Press Scope Setup then select Auto Setup from the flyout menu.
Use this setup and follow along with the setups outlined in the following paragraphs.
Adjust
If non-numeric control fields are selected only the Up and Down indicators are illuminated.

Zoom
The WavePilot Zoom button turns on a zoom trace for each displayed input channel.
SuperKnob Actions for Zoom
The zoom actions above extend to any mode utilizing a table. This includes WaveScan, Decode, History, LabNotebook, and Spectrum modes. When zoom is on the selected line in the table is displayed in the zoom trace. As you change the row selection in the table the zoom trace changes simultaneously.
