LeCroy Corporation Launches Fully-Buffered DIMM Application in BETA for the SDA family

LeCroy Corporation, a leading manufacturer of digital oscilloscopes worldwide, announces the BETA launch of SDA-FBDIMM. With the successful introduction of SDA-SAS and SDA-8B10B through the BETA Program period initiated in mid March, SDA-FBDIMM now extends the powerful X-Replay test environment to include Fully Buffered DIMM point-to-point testing of data lanes and reference clock tests.

FB-DIMM has been designed to meet the strict functional needs of the Advanced Memory Buffer (AMB) Interface since its early inception,. The point-to-point electrical tests cover amplitude, timing and jitter measurements in accordance with JEDEC 0.8 specification, and represent the most extensive application software currently written for the new memory interface. ”With the introduction of SDA-FBDIMM in the BETA program, we encourage and welcome leading designers to start using the application and get tangible, realistic results from day one” said Fernando Gomez, Product Marketing Manager, Vertical Market Applications, Performance Measurement Group for LeCroy.
