Encrypted Links with Merlin

Can Merlin follow encrypted links with Temporary link keys?

Yes, the Merlin family can follow all forms of encryption. The key of course is the appropriate link key. If you do not know the link key you can acquire the link key by entering a PIN against the master and slave so that when a au_rand files Merlin can follow the in_rand.
If the link key has already be defined between the devices in the piconet then you must either re-capture the bonding or enter the correct link key. BTTracer can store many link keys however Merlin does not provide long term storage therefore it can be a good idea to copy the link key to a text file for future use and update this on each pairing.  You may need a valid combination key to be present before establishing a temporary link key depending on the security approach you are using.
