DDC3000 INTEGRATED MINICRATE and SCSI CONTROLLER

COST EFFECTIVE, POWERED CAMAC CRATE & CRATE CONTROLLER IN ONE PACKAGE

The SCSICrate is a CAMAC minicrate with integrated controller. No module space is required for the controller so that all eleven stations are available for modules. The SCSI interface provides a complete command set for CAMAC dataway operation along with data transfer rates of better than 1 MB/sec to any SCSI-2 compatible host computer. Software support includes easy to use drivers for popular DOS and Windows instrument programming environments which makes system integration and test a snap. Independent of the SCSI features, the on-board processor supports the powerful Intel MCS BASIC-52 interpreter augmented with commands specific to CAMAC instruments. A battery backed RAM disk, PCMCIA SRAM Smartcard interface and self contained file management system permit storage and retrieval of multiple programs. With only a terminal connected to the RS-232 port, the SCSICrate becomes a self-contained instrument control computer.
