Teledyne LeCroy Releases Hammerhead Utility for Net Protocol Suite v1.85 and Native Wireshark Analysis!

Hammerhead, supplied with the Net Protocol Suite™ release, v1.85, provides new Ethernet analysis options for the Wireshark™ community - a first in the seamless integration of a dedicated, line-rate protocol analyzer with the ubiquitous Wireshark network packet capture application.

Hammerhead combines SierraNet's unmatched recording abilities with Wireshark's ubiquitous user interface to supply complete, upper level traffic captures that are seamless and universal. Net Protocol Suite projects may be called from the Hammerhead utility directly. Those projects may include all current Net Suite traffic capturing options, i.e. pre-capture filtering, event based triggering, trace memory depth and trigger position selection.

Additionally, when the SierraNet's nanosecond trigger granularity is required, the Net Protocol Suite software provides users the most advanced and complete tool set for creating complex and detailed capture solutions, which include the industries only event timer and counter functions!
