Solution:

To switch from the default standard user to the administrative user account, or any new users created on the oscilloscope to support DCOM connections:

1. Choose File >Exit to exit the oscilloscope application.

2. From the desktop, open theWindows Start menu.

3. Hover over the Teledyne LeCroy logo and select the desired user. The administrative user is LCRYADMIN.

4. Enter the account password. For LCRYADMIN, enter SCOPEADMIN (all uppercase).

To return to the default LeCroyUser account, repeat this procedure selecting LeCroyUser and entering the password lecroyservice (all lowercase).

Note:As long as there are any Standard (non-administrative) users, the oscilloscope will reboot into the last active Standard user, regardless of whether you've switched to an administrative user. The only way to change this is to make LeCroyUser (and any other new users you create) an Administrator. Contact Customer Support for instructions on changing user privileges and creating new users on the oscilloscope.
