The following is list of some of key the 804/804A standard features and
benefits. Please refer to the 804 Data Sheet for a list of all features,
benefits, options and specifications.
804 HDMI Out (Tx) ports (4) – Four (4) HDMI output ports
support the emulation a known-good HDMI source devices to test HDMI HDTVs and
other sink devices up to 165 MHz pixel rate and 225 MHz TMDS clock rate for
deep color. All four HDMI Tx ports output the same video format and test
pattern.
Extensive format and test pattern library – Enables you to
test a variety of video test cases on a high end HDTV including deep color and
3D.
Protocol tests on HDMI sinks – Enables you to verify proper
operation of HDCP authentication, EDID and CEC on HDMI sink devices.
Composite analog video outputs – Test SDTV inputs for NTSC
and PAL formats from composite and S-video outputs.
Component and RGB analog video outputs (VGA – HD15 connector)
– Test analog video inputs on SDTVs, HDTVs as well as PC monitors up to 80 MHz
(max speed). Resolutions higher than 80 MHz supported through pixel doubling.
Component analog video outputs (BNC connector) – Test analog
video inputs on SDTVs and HDTVs up to 80 MHz (max speed). Resolutions higher
than 80 MHz supported through pixel doubling.
Audio test tones and clips for uncompressed LPCM and compressed
formats
– Enables you to verify that an HDMI audio rendering device supports various
audio formats including LPCM and Dolby and DTS compressed formats including
Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio.
Analog audio outputs – Supports compressed and uncompressed audio formats.
