We are currently looking for a Facilities and EH&S Manager for operations in Chestnut Ridge NY, Marion MA, Eljin IL, Charlottesville VA, Santa Clara CA.

Facility Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee building related activities of Teledyne LeCroy US facilities
  • Manage the maintenance of Teledyne LeCroy Chestnut Ridge building, grounds, and plant operations to ensure a safe, well maintained and hazard free environment
  • Must have basic knowledge of all building trades. Includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning and humidification systems
  • Plan, schedule and direct maintenance staff and external vendors/contractors
  • Oversee and manage, mail, digital print and copy center
  • Oversees and supervises maintenance personnel to ensure tasks are performed correctly
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
  • Arrange and manage employee training for evacuation and other life safety areas
  • Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management
  • Manages and reviews service contracts
  • Maintains the facility annual budget, ensures all contracts are completed within budgeted guidelines, process and approve invoices
  • Checks completed work by vendors and contractors
  • Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
  • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Environmental, Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Supports EHS operations and staff to foster a zero-tolerance culture and ensure compliance in all Teledyne LeCroy facilities located in the US
  • Develop and implement EHS programs
  • Train employees on OSHA mandated subjects
  • Guide and recommend EHS activities and manage EHS data
  • Strategize, review federal, state and local laws and regulations, prepare EHS reports and renew applications
  • Interface with federal, state and local agencies and comply with all laws and regulations


Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Familiar with OSHA regulations, local building and fire codes, as well as current health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitudes; negotiation skills; ability to read blueprints

Nature of Work:

  • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and/or situations
  • On call 24/7
  • Travel within the US

Education and Experience:

  • BS or Associate Degree and coursework in facilities management preferred
  • 10 years minimum experience
